Meet Me!
I’m Cedar, a tarot reader based in Vancouver, BC. A life-changing reading at 19 showed me a toxic relationship I was in, and helped set me on a path of healing and self discovery. That moment ignited my fascination and passion for tarot, leading me to train at Raven’s Veil. I am dedicated to helping others similarly find clarity and areas for transformation through the cards.
Tarot Origins
Tarot cards originated in 15th-century Italy, where they were first used for playing card games known as tarocchi. It wasn’t until the late 18th century in France that tarot began to be used for divination and spiritual insight. In the early 20th century, the Rider–Waite–Smith deck popularized the symbolic imagery and meanings associated with tarot today. Today, tarot is embraced worldwide as a tool for self-reflection, healing, and personal growth.
